Industrial Pyrolysis: Valorisation of Biomass and Organic Waste

Industrial pyrolysis is becoming a benchmark technology for the thermal treatment of solid waste in the absence of oxygen. At Innosuns WE, we have developed the InnoPYRO line, reactors designed to convert residual biomass, sewage sludge and other organic by-products into three valuable streams: syngas for thermal energy, bio-oil and biochar for agro-industrial applications.

Treatment of Digestate, Slurry and Livestock Effluents

One of the significant environmental challenges in Spain is the management of by-products from intensive livestock farming. The treatment of digestate and slurry through our integrated solutions makes it possible to address organic and nutrient loads in a fractionated and efficient way. This combines InnoECA for clarification of the liquid fraction with pyrolysis for the valorisation of the solid fraction.

The economic efficiency of an industrial plant is assessed both by its productivity and by the reduction of its associated operating costs. Industrial sludge management is one of the most significant cost items in conventional water treatment systems. By applying electrocoagulation, the volume of sludge produced is reduced by 30% to 50% compared with chemical treatment systems, due to the absence of heavy chemical reagents.
